Not in contact with opposition for upcoming elections

 Federal Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira has said that behaviour of political parties have become collusive, adding that deadlock over the appointment of Chief Election Commission has ended.

Speaking at a ceremony in Islamabad on Wednesday, he said that govt believes on the politics of reconciliation.

Kaira further said that issue of municipal elections was prejudice, adding that govt has to observe the issue of local bodies system.

He said that process of talks continues among political parties, and appointment of Fakhruddin G Ibrahim proved that political parties could resolve issues with mutual consultation.

The minister said that they were not in contacts with opposition for upcoming elections.

Kaira said that reopening of case against Nawaz Sharif was not preparation of elections, but it was a judicial issue. He said that if there were any case against Nawaz Sharif then he should clear himself before courts and media
