PPP to contact anti longmarch parties

Pakistan People's Party has decided to contact all political parties which were against of Dr Tahir ul Qadri's long march of January 14. After making contacts with all political parties, combined strategy will be made in this regard.

A meeting of PPP Core Committee headed by President Asif Ali Zardari was organised in Karachi on Wednesday.

Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf, former PM Yousuf Raza Gilani, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Makhdoom Ameen Faheem, Manzoor Watoo, Qamar Zaman Kaira, Khursheed Shah, Makhdoom Shahabuddin, Farooq H Naek, Raza Rabbani and other PPP leaders attended the meeting.

sources said that the meeting discussed upcoming long march of Dr Tahir ul Qadri and dialogues with oppositions for the next general elections.

Federal Minister Abdur Rehman Malik briefed the meeting about long march of Tahir Qadri. The sources furthr said that the meeting agreed to contact anti political parties of long march.
