Firing claims 10 more lives in Karachi

 At least 10 people have been killed in Karachi in different shooting incidents as target killing and kidnap for ransom cases suddenly surged in the city.

In the latest incident a police man was killed in Pak Colony.

Two people got injured in a cracker blast at Cement Agency near Yousuf Plaza, while unknown men hurled a hand grenade in PIB colony which injured a woman.

Three people were injured in firing incident near Nazimabad, whereas two people were killed in Teen Hatti and Mominabad.

Another man was shot and killed near Gol Market Nazimabad.

Two bodies were recovered from Manghopir and Malir River, while a man was killed in Malir Khokharapar.

Chairman Karachi Tajir Ittihad Atiq Mir said that over 20 traders have been kidnapped within a month. He said that they receive more than 200 threatening calls on daily basis.

Mir demanded of the government to take solid measures to stop kidnapping of traders and extortion  before Ramazan.
