Abdul Qadir Gilani, son of former prime minister Yosuf Raza Gilani won by-election of NA-151 Multan with a margin of over 4000 votes on Thursday.
According to unofficial result, the Pakistan People’s Party candidate Abdul Qadir Gilani begged 64628 votes while his opponent Shaukat Hayat Bosan got 60532 votes.
Gilani has lead of 4096 votes over his opponent Bosan who was contesting election as an independent candidate. Bosan, however, gave a tough time to Gilani as polling lead was seen fluctuating several times.
