Pakistan Country wide protests, rallies continue

Protests against anti-Islam film across cities and towns across Pakistan continue for the sixth straight day today.

Muslims of Pakistan kept expressing their anger and kept registering their protest staging rallies and demonstrations all across the country today.

Protests rallies and demonstrations in various cities of Punjab including Multan, Okara, Sahiwal, Renal Khard, Borewala have been staged today. In many of these cities a shutter-down strike was also observed.

Traders, students, religious parties and people from all other parts of life staged protest rallies. They held placards and banners voicing their feelings. At many places people burn effigies and tyres and blocked roads.

All roads leading to US consulate in Lahore were blocked by putting containers in the way.

Similar situation was observed in Sindh. Protest arllies and shutter-down strikes are being observed in many cities including Mirpur Khas, Kot Ghulam Mohammad, Sanghar, Khipro, Khadro, Matiari, Badin, Adero Lal, Bhit Shah, Omer Kot, Dhoro, Naro, Khai and Hala.

In Khyber Pakhtwankhwa province, tribals staged protest rallies and demonstrations. Commercial and trading centres in Sada city, Karram Agency remain close. JUI staged a rally in which thousands of protestors participated. Protestors burnt effigy of US President Obama and demanded ending diplomatic relations with the US.
