The law enforcement agencies have launched crackdown against the accused involved in violence in countrywide protests on Youm-e-Ishq-e-Rasool (PBUH) on Friday.
The police have started crackdown against people involved in rioting, looting and arson attacks in federal capital and other cities and towns. Police have arrested around 55 accused and captured four motorbikes, I.G. Police Islamabad said.
In Lahore police have registered FIRs under terrorism and other charges against thousands accused.
Karachi police have arrested more than 80 persons involved in arson attacks and other violence at PIDC and other areas in the port city. a
