Chief of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazlur Rahman has strongly condemned drone attacks in tribal areas and demanded the government to take up the matter at diplomatic level with the US government.
Addressing a grand jirga in Peshawar on Sunday‚ he stressed the need for dialogue process to settle all issues in FATA.
Fazl said that tribal people are patriotic and peace loving and they have no link with terrorists.
The tribal people will not allow thrusting of decisions, taken on Islamabad and world level, on them and whatever decision will be taken, in this regard, by the tribes we will support them.
He also said that during the last four years the government undermined all the joint decisions of All Parties Conference, Parliamentary Committee and the Parliament, which proves that the regime does not believe in the Parliament and democracy.
