Taking notice of prolonged load-shedding and power riots across the country, especially in Punjab, President Asif Ali Zardari on Sunday ordered federal minister for petroleum that immediately supply gas to power houses to resolve energy crisis.
President Zardari ordered Federal Minister Dr Asim Hussain that take immediate measures to resolve energy crisis in Punjab. The president also ordered to increase oil and gas supply to power houses.
Sources said that federal government would block gas supply to fertilizers companies. After the blockade of gas to fertilizer sector, it is expected that fifty percent energy crisis issue would be resolved.
