Federal Minister for Finance, Dr Abdul Hafeez Shaikh has claimed that the inflation will drop to single digit in the next fiscal year.
Addressing the Post Budget Press Conference in Islamabad on Saturday said the Finance Minister flanked by his senior finance managers team said every Pakistani would have felt sorry over what happened at the National Assembly's budget session yesterday.
The finance minister said that with hard work a good budget has been announced and will provide more relief for the people when taxes will be paid. Dr Shaikh said that the rate of inflation comes down during last three years. He said the development budget has been increased by 20 percent.
Talking on power crisis, Dr. Hafeez Shaikh said the problem will not be resolved with only funding it also has an administrative dimension. He said a comprehensive plan has been devised to resolve the power issue and a major in the development programme has been allocated for the power sector.
