At least five militants were killed on Saturday when fighter jets launched an assault in the northwestern Khyber tribal region.
Two hideouts of the militants were also destroyed in the attack in the tribal region’s Sarawela area, sources said.
The sources further said that the operation in the region had picked up pace since Friday’s clash with militants from the Kokikhel tribe.
