The Peshawar High Court taken suo moto notice of the incident of attack on Gorghatri temple called for the submission of report about the incident within three days.
The notice relates to the incidents of damage caused to the historic temple by unknown miscreants.
The Hindu community strongly protesting the incident alleged that the attackers set pictures on fire and destroyed the statues. It also demanded immediate arrest of the culprits.
The provincial minister for information Mian Iftikhar Hussain has assured that the culprits would be brought to justice after his visited the temple.
