Acting President Nayyer Hussain Bukhari has appointed Aitzaz Ahsan the new counsel in Bhutto Reference Case.
A summary in this regard is being received by the PM House from the Ministry of Law and Justice.
Earlier, President Zardari had appointed Dr Babar Awan the counsel in the case on the advice of the prime minister under Article 186 of the Constitution.
Later, the Supreme Court had directed the Attorney General to inform the president that after the temporary suspension of the license on January 5, 2012 he was no eligible to act as the counsel in the case and, thus, a new counsel should be appointed
