Quetta Carnage: Protest sit-ins end

After successful talks between Majlis-i-Wahdatul Muslimeen and the government officials in Quetta, the protesters have agreed to end sit-ins in Karachi, Quetta and other cities.

After successful talks Allama Amin Shaheedi of Majlis-i-Wahdatul Muslimeen and Hazara community leaders announced to end protest. The participants of sit-ins in Lahore, Quetta, Karachi, Nawabshah and other cities returned to their homes.

Shia Ulema have convinced the relatives of the victims of Quetta bombing to bury their dead who were refusing to do so and demanding handing over of Quetta to the army. 

In Karachi protest sit-ins ended at Tower, North Karachi, North Nazimabad, Five Star Chowrangi, Shara-e-Faisal, Natha Khan Goth, Clifton, Ancholi, Rizvia Society, Ayisha Manzil and other areas of the city.

The relatives of the people who had died in Saturday’s terrorist attack had agreed to start burying the dead at 9:00 on Wednesday morning.
