The Muttahida Qaumi Movement finally parted its ways from PPP government in federal and provincial governments, MQM leader Farooq Sattar announced on Saturday.
Sattar said that MQM would sit on opposition benches in the National Assembly and Sindh Assembly.
The MQM leader in an emergency press conference said that despite all differences MQM showed patience and remained with Pakistan People’s Party to continue democracy and reconciliation in the country, but seriousness not showed from other side to resolve issues.
He alleged that PPP destroyed peace of Karachi by creating Peoples Amn Committee. He said that terrorists of Liyari gang war and PAC involved in several target killing incidents, extortion and other heinous crimes.
Sattar said that in spite of promises PPP did not implement over the resolution of Local Body Ordinance, cases against gangsters of PAC were removed
