Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira has termed protest against US-made anti-Islam film that sparked in Islamabad on Thursday as conspiracy and shifted the blame to Punjab, from where the protesters poured in, instead of coping with the situation.
The information minister seemed angry, while taking to media and got angry over the people, protesting against the anti-Islam film. Kaira said that the demonstrators came from Murree and Rawalpindi and the Punjab government should stop them from entering Islamabad.
He said that there was no such need to protest against the film as the government had already announced a public holiday to mark the Youme-Ishq-q-Rasool (S.A.W) on Friday.
“All the foreigners and diplomats are in our protection and we will protect them at any cost,” the minister added.
