The Chairman of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Adm (r) Fasih Bukhari has approved the opening of three references agaisnt the Sharif Brothers. These cases would now be heard at the Accountability Court.
Chairman NAB has signed the three summaries for opening the three cases on the recommendation of the scrutiny committee.
The cases that are opened include matters pertaining to Hudabiya Paper Mills, accumulation of illegal assets and Ittefaq Foundary case.
The Sharif Brothers had moved an application to withdraw the cases in October 2001 and they were pending hearing before the trial court since 2001.
