ARY NEWS has gotten hold of the documents of Sindh's new budget to be presented by provincial Finance Minister Murad Ali Shah at 5 pm Monday in the Sindh Assembly.
According to the documents the revenue estimate in the next fiscal year 2012-13 is put at Rs 5 trillion while the expenditure is estimated at Rs 5.64 billion.
Documents also show Rs 3.07 billion deficit and no new taxes imposed.
A sum of Rs 3 billion is allocated in 2012-13 Sindh Budget for to provide relief to senior citizens.
A 20 per cent increase in the salaries of government servants and pensions is also proposed in the budget.
The budget also calls for providing 50,000 new jobs and introduction of 2,200 new development schemes.
Substantial funds is allocated for the reconstruction of flood effected areas of the province.
