Alleged rapists deny allegations

Rejecting allegation of raping tourists women in Fort Monroe, alleged accused provided volunteer arrest to police.

While talking to ARY news, the alleged accused said that neither they taken the women to police stations nor they raped them. They termed the allegations faked and added that

Local administration and tribal leaders have also agreed to run the case according to rule of law.

The team formed to investigate the case is in touch with tribal leaders over the issue.

The investigation team setup by Punjab Cheif Minister Shahbaz Sharif was briefed by teams of police, Levies and intelligence agencies. The team, however, recorded the testimonies of victim women.

Security teams have been ordered raids for the arrest of rapists.

The investigation team also discussed issues regarding the arrest of the accused with tribal administration.

The tribal administration insisting action against the accused according to jirga system.

Meanwhile, DCO Dera Ghazi Khan Iftikhar Sehw told reporters that transparent investigation  would be made in the case, added that, all the proceeding of the case would be brought before media.

It is pertinent to mention here that five persons including three members of border police and their two aides are allegedly accused of raped five women.

President Asif Ali Zardari, Adviser to PM for Interior Affairs and Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif have sought report of the incident.
