LAHORE: Amir Jamat-e-Islami, Syed Munawar Hasan on Sunday said the country's ruling leadership has succumbed to the US pressure and getting impatient to reopen Nato supply routes, Geo News reported.
In his address to a gathering in Mansoor via a video link, Munawar Hasan said: "America has been issuing threats after judging the rulers' weakness".
He termed the statement of US Senator John Kerry as an open insult to the Pakistani nation and Parliament in which he warned Pakistan to extend more cooperation or else the US would have to take a unilateral action.
"America has also clearly refused to stop drone strikes or tender an apology on Salala Check post attack," Munawar Hasan said.
