Blast near a police check post in Peshawar s cattle market injured 8 persons including a children early Monday.
Security forces have cardoned off the area.
Police and emergency response teams rushed to the spot and the injured were shifted to Peshawar’s Lady Reading Hospital.
Police said that the bomb was planted near the police check post and the blast impacted the vehicles passing through the raod at the time of the blast.
SP Shafiullah said that the terrorists aimed to destroy the police check post.
No casualty was reported in the incident.
Fear and panic gripped the area after blast and police cordoned off the area and began investigations.
