The president of Awami Tehreek Ayaz Lateef Palejo has asked the Chief Justice to take suo moto notice of the firing on the peaceful rally in Karachi on Tuesday.
Addressing a press conference in Karachi Palejo said that the rally taken out of Lyari area of the city was peaceful.
Ayaz said that he and Unzair Baloch were present in the rally the participants of which did not even carry a stick.
Far more sense of deprivation exists in interior areas of Sindh than that in Karachi, he said adding that the people elected the Peoples Party five times but it did not do anything to address the sufferings of the Sindhi people.
