Thousands of women staged a rally outside Karachi Press Club on Tuesday for the creation of a Mohajir province and deprived of their part in the jobs.
Thousands of women first gathered at Arts Council of Pakistan and from there marched to Karachi Press Club in the form of a rally where they were addressed by the women leaders of Mohajir Ittehad Tehreek.
The women chanted slogans in the favor of Mohajir province, the killings of Mohajirs and Mohajirs not getting any share in jobs.
Speakers addressing the rally condemned the targeted murders of the sons of the founders of Pakistan. All doors to public employment are being closed for them and this is just unacceptable, the speakers said.
The speakers urged the chief of MQM Altaf Hussain, President Zardari, PM Gilani and leadership of the Pak Army and others to listen to the voice of Mohajirs and present a resolution in the parliament for the creation of Mohajir province just like the ones presented for the creation of Seraiki and other provinces.
The speakers said that they would not shy away from offering any and all sacrifices for the creation of Mohajir province.
Mohajir mothers would offer their sons for Mohajir province without retreating a single step from their demand for the Mohajir province, they added.
