Federal Interior Minister Abdur Rehman Malik has said that Nato supply restoration was not only an issue of America but it was an issue of ties with 48 countries, adding that government would not take any decision against of national interest.
He said this while talking to Ameer Jamaat-i-Islami Syed Munawar Hasan at Mansoora on Saturday.
The JI chief termed proposed Nato supply resumption a political suicide.
Malik said that the government was working on the proposals of the Parliament regarding Nato supply restoration. He said that final decision has not taken in this regard.
He said that no deciosn would be taken against the wished of people. If bureaucracy of Punjab did not stop propaganda against federation, strict action would be taken against involved persons, he stated.
Hasan on the occasion said that Nato supply restoration would cause to Salala like incident. He added that Nato supply restoration was a political suicide.
He said that JI would conduct a long march if Nato supply restored.
