KARACHI: Presiding officer Habiba Memon, who was tortured on February 25 by PPP nominated candidate for Sindh Assembly seat Waheeda Shah, said that she has pardoned her.
Talking to media here on Saturday, Habiba Memon said that Waheed Shah came to her house with her family members and sought forgiveness.
She categorically denied that no offer was given and no pressure was asserted on her. Waheeda Shah slapped her in front of police official without confirming the information of polls rigging which was an incorrect act, Memon added.
