Target killing continue unabated in Karachi despite the tall claims police and Rangers. Two more people were gunned down on Monday reaching the death toll to 14 within 24 hours.
According to police, tortured body of a man was found from Iqbal Market area of Orangi Town. The identity of the victim, who was shot and killed, is yet to be ascertained.
Another man was shot dead in Manghopir. The corpse was identified as Bagh Mir.
Meanwhile, a man was shot and injured during dacoity resistance in Korangi No 2-1/2. The injured was shifted to a hospital for treatment.
Earlier, unidentified armed men opened fire at Mukhtar Zaidi while he was sitting outside his home in Martin Quarters. Later, Zaidi succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
