Pakistan s women cricket team beat India by one run in the Women s World T20 tournament match at the Galle International Stadium in Sri Lanka on Monday.
After winning the toss, Pakistan chose to bat and scored 98 runs in their allotted 20 overs, with captain Sana Mir and star batsman Nain Abidi being the top scorers for the team with 26 and 25 runs, respectively.
India failed to reach the target by one run, scoring 97 runs for the loss of eight wickets, batting their full quota of overs.
India’s top scorers were J Goswami, PG Raut and M Raj with 21, 18 and 16 runs respectively.
Goswami gave an all round performance with the ball too, taking two wickets.
Besides Goswami, Rasanara Parwin and Anuja Patil were the pick of the bowlers for India as well, taking two wickets apiece.
