The
Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf peace march led by PTI chief Imran Khan has
reached Dera Ismail Kahn peacefully. The peace rally will stay in DI
Khan tonight and proceed its peace march to Waziristan on tomorrow
morning.
Imran Khan got warm welcome from his supporter and lovers at different places. In Tank, additional security was deployed and roads were blocked with the help of containers.
The PTI peace march received warm reception as it reached to Dear Ismail Khan, and flower petals showered at the motorcade and smaller rallies merged into the march towards South Waziristan tribal region on Saturday. Ealier the peace march got warm welcome as it reached to Mianwali.
The PTI chief said that he was not afraid of Taliban, but politicians. PTI supporters in Talagang said that they must reach Waziristan.
Earlier, Central leaders of PTI gathered at Margalla hotel in Islamabad before beginning of the march. The newsmen of the national and foreign media also accompanied with the march from the central secretariat of PTI.
At least 30 members of CodePink group, anit group US drone, also participated the rally. The group members stated that US drone strikes were violation of international laws.
They said that CIA, central investigation Agency, was a civil agency, but killing innocent people with the help of military weapons which was totally a crime.
The DI Khan strict security measures were made owing to the peace march, while, the Tank administration has set up containers at routes leading to South Waziristan. Information Minister Khyber Pakhtoonkhawa Mian Iftikhar said that there was no bar on peace march, added that, Imran Khan could go anywhere he wants.
