Father of Pakistan's nuclear program Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan has said that if the rich parliamentarians who declared their assets spend just one per cent of their riches on Thellessemia the disease could be drastically reduced.
Addressing a ceremony held in Islamabad to mark World Thellesemia Day Dr Khan said that Pakistan does not just houses thieves and wickeds but it also houses a large number of philanthropists.
Stressing the need for public awareness about Thellemesia Dr Khan said that number of its patients are fast increasing in the country.
