Prime Minister of Pakistan Raja Pervaiz Ashraf will chair the federal cabinet meeting in Islamabad to discuss overall security situation in the country.
The meeting will also review the measures taken by the government after deadly bombing in Quetta and the decision about targeted operation in the city.
The objective of the targeted operation is to ensure safety of the people and to maintain law and order situation.
The cabinet will also be briefed over handing over of Gwadar Port to Chinese company.
