APC begins in Islamabad


An All Parties Conference hosted by Awami National Party (ANP) has been underway in Islamabad on Thursday  to discuss the issues of terrorism and holding dialogue with the Taliban.

ANP chief Asfandyar Wali presiding over the inaugural session of the moot calling for a joint stance against terrorism saying the menace of terrorism will not end with elections.

The moot being attended by 27 political parties, will focus on evolving a common strategy to face the scourge of terrorism.

All main political and religious parties had assured to participate in the moot except Jamat Islami and Tehrik-e-Insaf.
