Pakistan continues to witness temperatures below average for this time of year hitting routine life in the country.
Islamabad, Lahore and Shekhupura received showers after cold winds and frosty weather.
People facing difficulties as link roads in upcountry were closed and fuel prices have soared.
Various parts of Islamabad, Lahore and Shekhupura were engulfed in fog and after light rainfall the mercury has further dropped.
According to the Meteorological Department the cold wave will persist in the country for few more days.
