People in Pakistan arranged different programmes across the country to mark Malala Day on Saturday. Prayers were offered for the early recovery of Malala Yousufzai.
In Sindh Assembly different plays were presented to paid tribute to Yousufzai. Representatives of civil society, media organisations and students participated in the event.
Speaker Sindh Assembly Nisar Kahuro sid that enemies of religion and humanity could not be called human.
Khauro and prominent writer Fatima Surriya Bajhiya offered prayers for the early recovery and long life of yousufzai. Prayers were also offered on in different schools of Swat valley, the home town of Yousufzai.
Speaking to Malala Zindabad Convention, MNA Mumtaz Alam Gilani demaned inclusion of the diary written by Malala in the curriculum. The convention also approved resolutions to give Yousufzai a nobel peace prize and formation of Malala Education Foundation.
