The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf chief Imran Khan said that Khyber Pakhtoonkhawa administration tried to stop PTI peace march.
Khan said that worldwide campaigns have initiated against drone attacks after PTI peace rally. He asked PML-N to carry out such drama if it could do so.
Talking to media in Islamabad on Monday flanked with Javed Hashmi and Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Khan said that government spread rumors that 10 suicide bombers were waiting for PTI peace march. When PTI peace convoy reached Tank, it was tried to stop by placing containers, he stated.
Terming Maulana Fazlur Rehman right hand of President Asif Ali Zardari, he alleged that President Zardari and Maulana Fazlur Rehman also tried to stop the peace convoy, added that, pamphlits were also distributed in Tank to refrain people from the rally.
The PTI chief said that they were told that going Waziristan in darkness would be dangerous. He said that insurgency increasing from US drone strikes.
The cricket-turned politician further said that US Admiral Mike Mullen briefed Congress panel that drone strikes in Pakistan were took place with the permission of Islamabad.
