The Election Commission of Pakistan has decided to disqualify candidates over violations of the code of conduct.
This was decided in a meeting presided over by Chief Election Commission Fakhrudding G Ebrahim on Wednesday.
The meeting decided to disqualify all the candidates find violating the code of conduct of the commission. The meeting also decided to dispatch the code of conduct to all political parties.
Chief Election Commissioner said that only implementation on code of conduct was not enough for candidates, but the meeting also doubled the reward of the polling officials.
The meeting also reviewed PML-N request to end the sign of cat. It also considered registration of several political parties.
