The Central Developing Working Party has approved Rs 4.61 billion for ten development projects.
The approval was given at the meeting of CDWP chaired by Deputy Chairmman of Planning Commission Dr Nadeem-ul-Haq. Rs 38.7 billion worth of 24 projects were presented before the CDWP.
The four projects approved comprise water, transport & communications; science & technology, governance and education.
The CDWP rejected 3 projects and also put 3 projects on hold. The value of projects put of hold totals Rs 28.98 billion.
