At least 23 people were killed and ten others injured when a van collided with a truck coming from the opposite direction in Bahawalpur on Tuesday.
According to rescue sources, the passenger van was on its way to Ahmedpur Sharqia from Bahawalpur when it collided head-on with a truck, killing 23 passengers on the spot and injuring several others. At least three injured passengers are said to be in critical condition.
The bodies and injured were shifted to the Victoria Hospital in Bahawalpur.
