A reduction or Rs 1-6 rupees is expected in the prices of petroleum and products for the next week.
According to Petroleum Ministry the price of petrol is expected to be slashed by Rs 6 a litre from October 1.
A Rs 5.17 a kilo reduction is also expected in the pump price of the CNG.
The price of kerosene is expected to be cut by Rs 1.50 a litre while prices of other petroleum products including high speed diesel, light speed diesel and high octane is also expected to be slashed by Rs 0.50 to Rs 0.60 a litre.
