NZ set England 149 runs to survive in Super Eight

Fifty of James Franklin helped New Zealand to set a fighting total against England in do or die match of Super Eight of Twenty20 World Cup on Saturday.

New Zealand skipper Rose Taylor won the toss and elected to bat first. New Zealand managed to score 148 runs for the loss of six wickets in allotted 20 overs game.

Franklin made 50 runs off 33 ball while Taylor scored 22 runs.

Steven Finn took three wickets while Danny Briggs and Greame Swann shared one wicket apiece.

England need 149 runs to win the match
