LAHORE: Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar has said that Pakistan and India must come to the table to put resolve all the issues as the past policies did no good to both the countries, Geo News reported.
She was addressing the Economic Conference "Dividends" being held here, under the auspices of Aman Ki Asha, a joint initiative of the Jang Group of Pakistan and the Times of India newspaper.
“Both countries must strive to settle their disputes through dialogue and business conference was an important step towards boosting mutual trade in the region as well as softening the hard feelings ”, said foreign minister.
Such events would go a long way in not only promoting trade but peace as well, she said.
“We all wish peace and prosperity in South Asia and India and Pakistan were not only just two neighbours but also two responsible countries.”
