CNG in Sindh to remain closed on Saturday

KARACHI: The CNG stations in Sindh including Karachi would remain closed for 24 hours starting from 9 am on Saturday, Geo News reported Thursday.
Under the Sui Southern Gas Company's weekly gas load management schedule, CNG stations will remain closed for 24 hours from 9 am on Saturday till 9 am on Sunday.
Sources told that improvement in gas supply is expected in the last week of April that could put a halt to weekly CNG loadshedding.
Earlier, Bhit Gas Field faced technical problems due which CNG supply was suspended in Sindh region for 24 hours besides the regular weekly closure.
Commuters complained that due to the closure of CNG, they have to face hardship every week as the public transport grows very thin and private transport owners charge exorbitant fares.
Long queues are also witnessed at filling stations prior to the suspension of CNG.
